Happy New Year, Jez. Loved the otter sighting and also the Goldcrest - a perfectly named bird :) Will put some thought into your question, but I’d love to experience live storytelling with you and of course more of your poetry :)
Hi Will, and happy new year to you too! Thanks for your accompaniment on this journey, and for responding.
The goldcrest was an absolute delight, and I've seen others since - once you learn to See something, you realise it has been there, invisible to you, all along!
Thanks for your encouragement. I'm sure there'll be more poetry, whatever happens. I'll give consideration to the live tellings, there are a few things to figure out.
I’m ignoring Jen and her puns but will say I truly enjoyed ‘mumruffin, poke pudding and bum barrel’ as bird names! 😆
What’s the male version of a Snow White? That’s so you! 🕊️🥰
Thanks Eva - they're such great nicknames aren't they?
Not sure about a male snow white... but I definitely identify with the Green Man. By name and by nature 💚🌱🧟✨
Owww that’s indeed you! 🙂↕️💚
😂 in my defense my comments have not posted for weeks, I am only allowed to make puns 😂 (and i can envisage Mr Green as the male snow white.)
Happy omens gathering you've had! 🫡 for the magpies and I hope some great tits appeared at some point 😁
I DID see some great tits 😊 but they didn't announce themselves as an omen. Probably for the best... 😂
😂😂 you will be peripherally protected from evil
What a gorgeous read, thank you. I always look forward to your writing and I’d love to hear some storytelling.
Thank you Allie, it's great to find you here in the comments, I appreciate your kind words and I'm delighted to know you look forward to my posts 🙏🏼
I'll give serious consideration to the storytelling, particularly if others are interested too.
