What Now Then?
Ideally this would be a lovely succinct account of the theme I'm diving into on here, but sadly - or perhaps joyfully - that's not in my nature. I'm a generalist, not a specialist. However, I do like finding the connections between my different areas of interest. Here are some of the things that fascinate me, and that will undoubtedly crop up here if you hang around long enough:
• Giving Presence and Attention to the animate world around us, and the nature of modern mysticism
• Making relationship with place, and interbeing with other creatures, specifically at my local urban wild space, Pomona Strand
• Storytelling and mythology
• Poetry, literature and writing
• Creative practice and creative communities
• Connecting to spirit / the divine and to psyche / soul
• Chronic and incurable illness (I have had an ME/CFS diagnosis since 2018) and the Wounded Healer archetype
• Moving towards Elderhood and the role of Eldering
• Embodiment and somatic practice
• Other topics I see as especially critical during these times, including: working with paradox, non-dualism, uncertainty, change, how we relate to death, and the necessity of limit.
